Wearable sculptures, made in London using recycled metals.

  • Jewellery for humans

  • I am Luciana the artist behind Morera. I am based in east London, attend different London markets and also do bespoke commissions. Mainly self-taught it took me years to build up my workshop and develop my skills. Freedom, love, play and movement, these are the themes in my work. I make wearable sculptures, each has a story and is infused with meaning.
  • Inspiration

  • Having access to creative activities from a young age and being related to a well-respected sculptor and a painter were maybe the first unconscious steps on my creative journey. My grandmother was a strong figure who also influenced me immensely, as a dress maker/designer and a craft lover. Going through a great loss in my life was the creative trigger for my journey and through my grief I was able to express myself in the deepest form. Being open and connected I think is the key to keep the flow in the creative imagination.
  • Timeless pieces

  • We are here for a short period of time but we leave our mark in the world and add a little grain to the collective consciousness. I want my work to be passed on, each wearer adding a piece of their own story to connect to each through our feelings and values which is what makes us human.
